THYME (Thymus Vulgaris)


Skin tonic, female problems, antifungal, relaxant, balance energy.


Origin: South Africa

Therapeutic uses

May stimulate white blood cells and is therefore good to build the immune system. Can assist to build physical weakness after a sick bed.

Antiseptic, anti-bacterial, anti-fungal, anti-infectious, anti-inflammatory, anti-microbil, anti-parasitic, anti-viral.

Strenghens nerves, congestion and dyspepsia.

Various other illnesses including  colitis, diarrhea, headaches, infections, sprains, poor circulation, raising of  low blood pressure, injuries (especially sports) and insomnia.

Respiratory problems: bronchitis, asthma, tonsillitis, sinusitis, whooping cough and tuberculosis.

Assists in cystitis and urinary problems.

Skin conditions: warts, abscess, sciatica, bruises, burns, insect bites and lice.

Emotional uses

Depression, nervous and emotional fatigue, stress, increases intelligence and uplifting.


Diffuse or apply neat under feet or diluted on affected areas.


May cause irritation to mucus membranes and skin. Use with caution for children under 6.


Not for use if pregnant or should you have high blood pressure.
